Thrash and the Beaver

I've been toying around with the idea of making a comic book lately. The idea came from a friend of mine who told me about shooting up beaver tranquilizer one time. I found the entire scenario so magnificently absurd that I wanted to make a comic book about him and his exploits with a magical talking beaver that only he could see. Here are the preliminary portraits of the two main characters, the beaver and Thrash. I did these in Illustrator.
